Our Mission and "Why"
Perspectives Preparatory Academy cultivates a free and inclusive culture of learning which celebrates students' unique strengths to ensure a successfully diverse future workforce.
50% of our students have differing abilities ranging from Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Sensory Integration, Dyslexia, etc. The other 50% of students are neurotypical which means they have no educational identification and do not qualify for an IEP (Individual Education Plan).
Also, 15% of our student population is gifted, and/or twice-exceptional.
All students should have access to a quality, free, college preparatory education regardless of ability. Families have enough to worry about so we provide free access to speech/language therapy, music therapy, and occupational therapy during the school day for those students who qualify for support in those areas.
We believe the impossible is possible by taking students who would otherwise never interact with learners across the spectrum during the school day and are educated side by side. Our generous donors, people just like you, make this dream possible.
"Wisdom begins in wonder"
